Field Service / Commissioning / Processing Engineer Worcester to £35k
Our client is renowned as a market leader in the world of special purpose processing and recycling machinery design and manufacture, and can demonstrate an outstanding record of growth based on providing consistently high quality bespoke solutions to a diverse range of market sectors.
As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, high calibre and committed Processing and Commissioning Engineer to complement their established and highly successful team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing and commissioning of completed extrusion lines before and after despatch (within customer’s site), and for the subsequent provision of operator training.
Knowledge and experience of polymer processing (extrusion) is ESSENTIAL as is having a logical approach to problem solving, and when not commissioning machinery, you will work closely with the design team to assist with product development / improvement / research.
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic individual to develop and expand this key role within the company, and essentially you will need to be flexible in your approach, prepared to travel abroad and happy to communicate directly with customers of all levels.

Shift Maintenance Engineer/ Shift Technician
£18,000 - £24,000 per annum
(Working 12 hour shift pattern)
The Company
Our Client is a leading UK manufacturer of flexographic printed films and bags for the packaging of retail food products. With an extensive blue chip customer base . We are currently looking to recruit Shift Technicians within our Engineering Department to support the manufacturing process.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that machine breakdowns and preventative maintenance are completed in a timely manner. You will ensure that procedures are followed and that documentation is completed as necessary. You will work closely with Departmental Managers and shift personnel to ensure that production requirements are met, whilst maintaining the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times.
The Person
You will be qualified to electrical NVQ 3 level or equivalent and have knowledge and experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Openings are available to those who have not yet had the opportunity to complete a qualification but experienced commercial electrical machinery, a strong technical aptitude is desired should this be the case. You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and be able to communicate at all levels. You will be self-motivated and thrive on working in a challenging environment.
The Package
The position offers a salary of 18k to 24k depending on knowledge and experience. There is also a Company pension scheme, profit share scheme and share save scheme in operation.
The Company will also ensure that you receive continuous training and development within the role.

- Produce layout and detail drawings using SolidWorks or PTC Creo or AutoCad.
- Analyse, layout and report on material / component selection.
- Compile supporting engineering calculations for all designs.

- Probably HNC/HND or Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering subject.
