Project Engineer A leading engineering company is currently looking to recruit for a Project Engineer to add to their successful team. Based from their site in Hampshire, the company are part of multi-national engineering group and specialise in bespoke and turnkey products. The Project Engineer will work in a team of Engineers and will have responsibility for managing projects from order to installation on site. Tasks for the Project Engineer will include checking orders; maintaining costs, producing engineering drawings using 3D modelling/CAD and Autocad; creating bills of materials; and supporting the production team in the manufacturing and installation. The role would suit a design or project engineer with experience of fabricated metal work, ideally with an electrical element to them. Full training will be given on their product sets, but you will need to have a good understanding of mechanical concepts. you will be a Qualified Mechanical Engineer (HND/Degree) with a minimum of five years' experience in a similar project engineer role. Key Responsibilities
• Provide the Engineering coordination of a variety of complex IT change requests through managing a cross functional team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.
• Leads, manages and supports proposal development for a portfolio of change requests to the baseline and leads the execution of the change, in line with PRINCE 2 project management best practice, by identifying activities, resources, documents and events required to complete the work.
• In addition, identifies appropriate performance metrics.
• Develop supplier statements of work (SSOW) to satisfy a variety of change requests, which include research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.
