Our client is heavily involved in the production of Green Energy and associated ancillary components. The client is experiencing huge growth and as such seeks additional Mechanical Engineers with at least 18 months commercial experience.
You will be a Graduate BEng or MEng 1st or 2.1 level Mechanical Engineers preferably with at least 2 years experience in related Industry, project management experience and the use of 3D software ( Inventor ) would also be an advantage.

Candidates MUST HAVE experience in the Oil & Gas industries, and client is pursuing local/regional candidates at this time. Responsibilities: Responsible for performing all aspects of engineering and design. Will report to the mechanical lead engineer or project manager for assignments; may occasionally lead small efforts of work in specific discipline. Will be responsible for investigating problem or new build solutions, performing all aspects of design engineering and analysis for custom equipment (revisions, retrofits, ground-up designs), including component selection, mechanical analysis and development of bills of materials, under minimal engineering supervision. May be called upon to provide some technical guidance to less experienced drafting and engineering personnel. Evaluates the desired goal of the system and develops, designs, or selects the required equipment & piping to achieve the goal: Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. Directs activities to ensure that designs conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer. Bachelor of Science- Mechanical Engineering degree is required At least 2 years experience in the engineering & design of production equipment such as pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, etc., and/or related single element systems (eg a separator with piping & controls). Should either be registered EIT in Louisiana or capable of being registered. Should be experienced in performing detail equipment and systems calculations, preparing specifications, data sheets, inquiries and technical bid tabs, and performing drawing reviews of mechanical equipment, all under minimum direction of a more experienced engineer. Experiences with the engineering design of such equipment for Offshore Oil & Gas Production Facilities a big plus. Must be computer literate, at a minimum proficiency in MS Word & Excel. Local candidates preferred.
