Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer and working on a permanent days basis (7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday), the successful candidate will be responsible for the product quality, process control, quality standards and related procedures required to meet company and customer expectations, in order to ensure that the quality of product produced is of the highest and safest possible standards to ensure parts are manufactured and will perform well.

You will promote safety, quality thinking and reduce waste within the company, and both develop and implement all elements of APQP activities including FMEA's, control plans and PSW's as well as establishing requirements for on-going capability monitoring and SPC. Additionally you will raise and implement robust corrective action programmes encompassing customer, supplier and internal quality concerns, and both assist and coach quality technicians and production associates where required.

You will produce and issue monthly reports covering quality indicators as advised by the Senior Quality Engineer, and establish and issue Quality acceptance standards in accordance with company and customer expectations, as well as carrying out work safely in the interests of other employees and yourself, in compliance with current legislation and Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, and will ensure quality standards are maintained and improved to both internal and external customers

To be considered for this exceptional graduate opportunity, you will be qualified to degree level in a suitable technical discipline or relevant experience and will possess at least 2 years experience of working in a fast moving automotive environment.
