They are currently requiring Construction Auditors to join their London based team;
The successful applicant must posses;
A Health and Safety professional qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
Lead Assessor via examination (preferably IRCA or equivalent).
Environmental Awareness Certificate provided by a recognised provider such as IEMA, CIEH etc.
Memberships of relevant professional institutions such as IEMA, IOSH, IIRSM and / or EI.
Working knowledge of the construction industry sector, including an understanding of how contracts and projects are discharged.
A working knowledge of health and safety, environmental and quality management systems.
Exposure to the delivery of audit programmes.

Duties within this role will include;
Deliver four customer facing days of audit and one report writing day per week.
Deliver audits to the specified levels of quality, time and cost that meet the requirements of the relevant industry and scheme standards.
Produce high quality audit reports as determined by each audit programme.
Liaise with internal operations personnel to ensure the optimum utilisation of time and resources.
Liaise, where necessary, with clients or other interested parties to provide guidance on the content of the scheme.
Contribute to the on-going development of the various schemes while ensuring that they conform to the framework of corporate standards and procedures

Provide oversight to ensure that regular PC Site Progress Meetings are being held and minutes of these meetings are being progresses to assure that all key stakeholders are fully engaged Inspect, approve or reject materials and workmanship. Notify PC/Contractor of defects. Undertake the role of Engineer's representative for sensible monitoring of site construction activities and assure that an effective PC H&SMS is in place for the site. Ensure that a PC documentation management system is established and maintained on site Track and escalate any deviations/change from the agreed Work Instruction through to the Project Engineer. Undertake the role of Supervisor as defined/delegated within the relevant AAA/EPC contract. Additional Information (eg special terms, need to travel, notice period (if not standard 4 weeks): The role of the CIE may necessitate multiple site coverage on a national basis (England & Wales). This will depend on the extent and nature of the project work undertaken. The roles is to be initially aligned to London and the South. As a Buildings Manager, you will be responsible for providing a cost effective and professional support service to customers requiring repairs and alterations at first occupation along with an on-going quality assurance programme and an after sales customer service function.
The role not only covers administration and quality checks, but also includes the practical rectification of defects on a 50/50 basis.
Within the role you will be required to check the standards of finish of flats and communal areas to confirm that they are to Company standard, preparing reports on the quality found on inspection and liaising with the Construction Department to ensure that any problems are satisfactorily resolved. Acting upon Customer Comments / Complaints by agreeing courses of action for rectification with the Buildings Supervisor, you must arrange all necessary labour and materials and carry out an inspection of completed works to ensure complete satisfaction.
Ensuring proper cyclical maintenance of unsold stock is carried out to minimise any deterioration, you will undertake regular inspections and subsequent upkeep of the Company's Part Exchange and Property Bridge Portfolio within the Region and check and authorise invoices and payments to Suppliers/Subcontractors for work completed prior to approval by Customer Services Manager.
Candidates for this role should hold a flexible approach to their work with a willingness to spend 3/4 days per week attending developments within the region and be on call for emergency purposes to give information to House Managers/Clients. Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum, you will hold a technical qualification in Building such as City & Guilds and have considerable general building experience with an emphasis on a trades or management background.
Under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) the Buildings Manager will require a platinum CSCS Manager card and have, or be working towards, a relevant Property Manager qualification.
