An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Assistant based in North West London to join an expanding company.

The company design, manufacture, distribute and support a wide range of lighting control products for both UK and international markets. Their reputation is based on innovative designs and quality products. They are looking to strengthen their technical services department, which provides commissioning, and maintenance services, troubleshooting, technical drawing services and telephone support, with a typical client being an electrical contractor or M&E consultant.

As a Technical Services Assistant your duties will include:

• Taking technical support phone calls and responding to queries via the website and email.
• Providing clerical assistance for the Technical Manager and Project Manager.
• Carrying out new product testing.
• Assisting with design quotations for the sales team.
• Producing 2D design drawings using AutoCAD whilst liaising with the sales team.
• Reporting to Managers on technical enquiry trends.
• Possibility of attending sites to provide commissioning support or fault finding.

An ideal Technical Services Assistant will hold the following skills and experiences:

• From a electrical engineering background.
• Electrical qualification (degree, HND etc. or equivalent.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD.
• Ideally, but not essentially, has previous experience with working document control.

In return you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum plus a year end bonus and the possibility to do overtime.
