My client is a leading global engineering consultancy, they currently have a opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering (MEP) team. The role itself will operate across the water, wastewater, water-related environmental and industrial sectors. Responsibilities will include client liaison, outline & detailed process design work, and feasibility. To be considered for the role you will be a degree-qualified chartered engineer or equivalent. ROLE:
The main job purpose for the Environmental Health Administrator is to provide general administration support, including using the finance systems, to the Environmental Protection and Food and Safety teams at the council.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Providing advice and guidance on Environmental Health Services internally and to the public
b) Generating and sending standard letters
c) Overseeing aged debt – checking and taking action as necessary on reports of unpaid invoices and attending the aged debt working group meetings
d) Producing and updating administration procedures and providing guidance to managers and team regarding improvements to processes and procedures
e) Providing cover/ support for other administrators and organise working patterns, lunch breaks etc as necessary
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Educated to GCSE grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent qualification or experience)
b) Self motivated and capable of independent decision making
c) Able to effectively prioritise workloads
d) Good level of literacy and good typing skills, with good attention to detail
e) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
f) Computer literate and familiar with MS Word and Excel

My client is a leading facilities maintenance service provider located in Manchester. The job itself will also be based in the Greater Manchester area.
Reporting to the Planning and Performance manager, the principal role of the job is to effectively co-ordinate planned and reactive maintenance work orders and control processes for a specified area. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling of all resources resulting in minimum downtime and maximum productivity. This will be done whilst ensuring a work program is produced to manage work priority in line with contract SLA's.
Other responsibilities will include; reviewing and monitoring outstanding work and effectively prioritising, planning and scheduling the work optimising productivity; manage work flow through the system and chasing down back log of work; continuously improving the planning and scheduling process using feedback from supervisors and Liaising with Operational supervisors.

Exciting opportunity to join a fast growing commercial vehicle and trailer manufacturing company based in the North West. The company designs and manufactures a range of dry goods trailers, rigid body conversions and van conversions supplying major fleet operators and commercial vehicle manufacturers. The organisation is looking for experienced Design Engineers to undertake project design from customer specification to completion.
KEY OBJECTIVES - DESIGN ENGINEER
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will manage new contracts from assessing and validating customer requirements through the design stages to the point of issuing design drawings, bill of materials and detailed drawings where required. You will also support the procurement function with supplier selection and technical inquiries. Once the project reaches the production stage you will support the manufacturing departments to ensure a smooth and effective completion of the build.
For new product design and ongoing product improvement you will be contributing towards the design activities as part of cross functional design teams in order to continually upgrade and improve the range of standard product designs.
Responsibilities include:
- Project assessment and review of customer requirements including technical support for sales
- Project design to ensure customer requirements are converted into effective design solutions
- Creation of bill of material records including standard and non standard parts
- Supporting procurement activities with technical input
- Supporting manufacturing activities throughout the build and completion process
- Provide input to and contribute to standard product and parts design programme
The role will require day-to-day liaison with internal and external contacts including sales, planning, procurement, manufacturing together with customers and suppliers.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - DESIGN ENGINEER
This role is ideally suited to an organised, proactive and self-motivated individual with a systematic approach to engineering design and documentation. Suitable candidates will have:
- Mechanical or Production Engineering Background to minimum HNC level
- Broad design and draughting experience, mechanical engineering including 3D CAD
- Knowledge of and interest in lean manufacturing and value engineering
- Experience of and ability to work to tight project deadlines
- Comfortable with full range of PC office software applications
- 3D CAD experience using SolidWorks
- Coach building, chassis or commercial vehicle bodywork design experience
You will also have good communication skills and the ability to liaise on technical issues with both internal and external contacts.
