Senior Project Manager

The Role:
The Senior Project Manager must successfully ensure the smooth running and delivery of products/projects on a day-to-day basis, using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, to deadlines and within budget. You will also provide good technical and business decision making to ensure quality of the deliverables is achieved and that the risks & issues are managed effectively. Other responsibilities include;
• Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects
• Plan, direct, and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage
• Effectively lead and motivate a multi-disciplined team to deliver high quality software solutions against challenging deadlines.
• Monitor and control resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders.
• Effective project planning, quality and change control
• Risk management and mitigation.
• Work within the protocols, procedures and standards as defined and governed by the PMO.
• Plan and manage the evaluation of software processes.
• Take action to exploit opportunities that will have a measurable effect on operational effectiveness, with associated benefits to the business.
• Manage third parties including video production companies, web hosting companies and digital marketing agencies.
The Person:
You will be a graduate with a minimum of eight years experience in Project management and have a recognised qualification, ideally PMP. You will have excellent communication skills and be used to working in multi-disciplined development teams. Additional skills and experience required include;
• Experience in using structured Agile and Waterfall software development methods across the full software development lifecycle encompassing analysis, architecture, design, development, system and integration testing, UAT and production deployment & support.
• MS Office and MS Project (or other planning tool) knowledge.
• Understanding and prior experience of working within a small company or start-up.
• Experience of working across multiple delivery organisations practising distributed development (ideally globally)
• 2 to 3 years of Sales/Marketing experience, preferably achieved within a consultancy or insurance environment with international and cross-functional demands
A competitive basic salary of up to £60k is offered, depending on experience, with excellent benefits. The position is based in London.

As the Senior Geophysicist you would be responsible for providing sound geophysical expertise in the evaluation of exploration opportunities, be responsible for handling complex Geological/Geophysical assignments independently and may be required to provide leadership on assignments requiring an extensive knowledge of Geophysics and Geology. Additional accountabilities would include extensive detailed mapping on 2D and 3D seismic data, analysing seismic attributes and preparing detailed, structural, stratigraphic and amplitude maps; evaluating 2D and 3D seismic data sets for hydrocarbon potential and making recommendations for future exploration efforts based on technical and business experience; conducting AVO modelling and fluid substitutions; generating /recommending opportunities for drilling to management and evaluating farm-in opportunities as well as making recommendations to management on participation.
The successful Senior Geophysicist will have a minimum of 10 years’ professional Oil & Gas exploration and development experience and hold a relevant Geoscience degree. The geophysicist will be a proven prospect generator and be able to work in a highly charged, fast-paced work environment. Senior Geophysicists with deep-water experience will be at a strong advantage, particularly those with experience in the Gulf of Mexico.
