Our client requires a Deputy Director of Estates & Buildings/Enfield Centre Manager which is a crucial post within the College.
The primary responsibility is the operational management of the Enfield Estate but it also gives excellent opportunities for those interested in developing their careers to encompass wider estates management and cross-college health and safety coordination.

About the College

Capel Manor College in Greater London, is a vocational college delivering Arboriculture and Countryside, Animal Care and Saddlery, Floristry and Balloon Artistry, Garden Design and Horticulture.

Key Responsibilities:

• To oversee and manage the operational activities relating to all College Facilities, Estate and Property issues (Primarily at Enfield estate);

• To ensure best practice in relation to staff, student and visitor safety whilst on College premises and to contribute to and direct College Managers on all Health & Safety and security compliance issues related to estates and property issues;

• To oversee the production, monitoring and updating of the College’s Disaster Recovery Plan.

Description of duties

• Co-ordinating general estates and facilities repairs across the Enfield campus as requested by the Director of Estates and Buildings (advising other centre managers when requested executing similar duties).

Estates Administration
• Maintaining spread sheets and databases for gas, water and electric meters on site. Overseeing the Facilities Helpdesk and monitor work and repair requests with Caretakers ensuring appropriate response times, follow up and actions are undertaken.

Estate Health and Safety
• Coordinate and produce reports covering termly accident statistics, RIDDOR reporting, training initiatives for health and safety subjects, including updates on fire and security at the Enfield Centre and liaise with other centre Managers in preparation of reports for the three Health & Safety Working Group meetings per year and other Safety Committees, as requested.

The post holder will also have responsibility for the supervision of the cleaning and caretaking services, and be responsible for the management of College maintained student residential facilities.

Experience/special knowledge/job requirements
• Demonstrable effective experience of facilities management
• Full driving licence (with D1 is desirable)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a District Sales Representative in London The position combines a high level of customer management and prospect sales expertise.
