Our client is a specialist water hygiene and consultancy company which provides services for Industrial, Commercial, Leisure and Healthcare Sectors in Legionella risk assessment, Water Hygiene including cleaning and disinfection and storage tank remedial works.

They currently have a vacancy for a Water Hygiene Sales Engineer to join their team in the North of England.

You will be developing existing and new business contracts within a broad range of sectors, completing tenders and attending post tender interviews. You will also produce water hygiene and legionella risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the water treatment industry, and knowledge of current water regulations and experience in risk assessments. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely on technical matters and a solid commitment to first class customer service and support
Strong planning skills and self-discipline are key requirements for this position as is also a full and current UK driving licence.

Our Clients extremely busy Land & Water team is looking to add to its ongoing growth with a Geotechnical Engineer in Manchester.

The successful candidate will join our Clients busy Manchester team and will be an important member of the wider UK team. The role will be playing a major role in delivering major projects with blue chip clients in the rail, mining and power sectors.

Post graduate qualification (MSc. or higher) in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred) or Engineering Geology
Experience with strong emphasis on geotechnical design of slopes, retaining walls, structural foundations and good analytical skills for interpreting geotechnical data
Use of recognised design software packages (Oasys, slopeW, or similar)
Knowledge of the use of FE software and its effective application
Preferably chartered through ICE / Geolsoc
Appreciation of site investigations, tendering, supervision and lab testing in accordance with BS5930, BS1377 and EC7, complicit with experience level
Mentoring and supporting junior staff
Excellent report writing skills
Willingness to travel if required, including potentially overseas
Good interpersonal and communication skills

For this position my client is seeking a Engineer who has extensive experience in carrying out rail related examinations across a number of frameworks. Your primary responsibilities will be to undertake the reviewing of examination reports whilst working towards Network Rail STE2 competence qualification, work as a member of a central CEFA Reviewing Engineer and to undertake tunnel examinations working towards Network Rail STE6 Competence qualification. Further, you will support the CEFA Technical Director and Territory Examining Engineers.

You will be degree qualified or HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering whilst being Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or working towards chartered status. Further, you will have a minimum of fie years experience of industry experience in structural examinations, maintenance or assessment. Additionally you will have experience with writing detailed structural reviews and will have experience of working within a rail infrastructure environment.

Experienced Fridge Engineers are required to join our client's teams in Spalding and Haydock.

As Fridge Engineer you will be carrying out regular scheduled Inspections, Servicing and Repairs to fridges fitted to Trailers and to LGVs both in their workshop and on customer premises.

Our client is an international consultancy that provides a range of planning, management, engineering and environmental services all over the world. They are currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer to work from one of the companies Southern offices to work on project throughout the south.

The role will require the candidate to liaise with railway design offices to manage the design process, planning and implementation of ground investigations. It is expected that the successful candidate will be experienced in Geotechnical design - earthworks, foundations, retaining walls, ground improvement, interpretative reporting and Geotechnical desk studies and site visits. It would also be beneficial to have experience of using geotechnical computing programmes for slope stability, retaining wall design and FE analysis.

This role will require a minimum five years experience as a geotechnical engineer, preferably within a railway environment, and predominantly within a design office. Candidates will ideally be PTS (Personal Track Safety) certified. The candidate will be qualified with a BSc Civil Engineering, MSc Soil Mechanics, and Geotechnical Engineering or similar and be a Chartered Engineer.
