My client is a leading global engineering consultancy, they currently have a opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering (MEP) team. The firm has an excellent reputation for its delivery; they have secured a large workload and operate alongside an interesting and varied client base.

The role itself will operate across the water, wastewater, water-related environmental and industrial sectors. Responsibilities will include client liaison, outline & detailed process design work, and feasibility. You will be working with and developing process tools such as mass balances and process flow diagrams – further, you will be proficient in the development of design solutions for clean and wastewater applications.

To be considered for the role you will be a degree-qualified chartered engineer or equivalent. You will have demonstrable experience within the water engineering sector with experience in both wastewater and water. Moreover, you will have a proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief & scope documents, design concepts as well as some experience technically.

Excellent report writing skills
Willingness to travel if required, including potentially overseas

Further, you will have a minimum of fie years experience of industry experience in structural examinations, maintenance or assessment. Additionally you will have experience with writing detailed structural reviews and will have experience of working within a rail infrastructure environment.

Our client is an international consultancy that provides a range of planning, management, engineering and environmental services all over the world. They are currently recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer to work from one of the companies Southern offices to work on project throughout the south.

The role will require the candidate to liaise with railway design offices to manage the design process, planning and implementation of ground investigations. It is expected that the successful candidate will be experienced in Geotechnical design - earthworks, foundations, retaining walls, ground improvement, interpretative reporting and Geotechnical desk studies and site visits. It would also be beneficial to have experience of using geotechnical computing programmes for slope stability, retaining wall design and FE analysis.

This role will require a minimum five years experience as a geotechnical engineer, preferably within a railway environment, and predominantly within a design office. Candidates will ideally be PTS (Personal Track Safety) certified. The candidate will be qualified with a BSc Civil Engineering, MSc Soil Mechanics, and Geotechnical Engineering or similar and be a Chartered Engineer.
