We are now looking for a Welding Inspector to join the team at our head office based in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The Role

The QA Weld Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the quality management system and participation in manufacturing process and system improvements. You will also be supporting the quality activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Investigating instances of product and process failure and conduct effect root cause analysis.
· Conducting continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system and improve product quality.
· Developing and delivering training to build quality awareness within the manufacturing teams.
· Interfacing with Engineering and Operations to ensure the transfer to production of new products is in accordance with the desired specifications.
· Conducting internal quality management system audits.
· Supporting the Supplier Development Engineer with the management of the supply chain.
· Compiling monthly QA reports and KPI’s.
· Reviewing new orders for welding requirements.
· Maintaining Excel spreadhseets for supplier rejection, corrective action reporting and customer returns data.

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a passion and responsibility for the customer. You will also need to be willing to travel to customers and suppliers as and when required.

Successful candidates should have:

· Minimum ONC In Engineering
· 5 Years prior experience in Quality Assurance in an engineered product manufacturer.
· CSWIP - Visual Welding Inspecor Level 1 - minimum requirement.
· Experience in quality management systems and quality system audits.
· Experience in using a range of measuring and inspection equipment
· Experience of welding and NDE techniques.

The Role

This role is based at our Head Office in Knutsford. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will have an engineering background, and be familiar with a manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibilities will be the production of machine and GA drawings and BOM generation. This position may also suit Graduates who are looking for their first role in design.

The Candidate

In order to be successful in this role, you should have the ability to be proactive and use your initiative, also with keen attention to details and high levels of accuracy. You would need the ability to take ownership of projects and be able to deliver to completion, within the agreed timescales. Possessing good influencing skills and a clear analytical approach, would be advantageous.

Successful candidates should have:

· Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering discipline
· A minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role

The Role

Currently experiencing a period of growth, there are now a number of opportunities for you to join their design team at their Head Office in Knutsford, Cheshire. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, the main purpose of your role will be to process production orders from concept through to final assembly, and to provide technical assistance through all stages of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

·Co-ordinate and process Customer orders.
·Identify Customer Requirements and produce technical documents.
·Create Bills of Materials in accordance with pre-defined schedules.
·Provide technical support to both customers and internal employees where required.
·Provide Technical Write-ups for quotations.
·Identify Assembly Problems and implement a corrective action plan.


The Successful Candidate

You should be able to show initiative, make decisions at the appropriate level and take responsibility for your own work. At the same time, you should be competent in understanding the impacts of solving a problem in a particular way, and be aware of the positive and negative impact of your actions.

To be successful in this role, you should:

·Be competent with 2D Autocad and 3D Solidworks.
·Be qualified to at least HNC level, preferably supported by a time- served apprenticeship.
·Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
·Preferably have an understanding of the Oil/ Gas/ Valves Industry.
·Have experience in a manufacturing environment.
