A Senior Engineer is required by a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy for a role based in Edinburgh within the Water team. This particular consultancy operates across numerous sectors such as environmental, power, industrial, transportation and utilities.
The Senior Engineer is required to join an established team whose workload consists of Flood Risk Assessments, Flood studies and protection schemes, SUDS and hydrological aspects for Environmental Impact Assessments. The successful candidate will be involved in Project Management of flood risk assessments and the development of flood studies and protection schemes. In addition, you will be expected to manage a small team of modellers as well as get involved in bid preparations, tendering and technical reporting.
The successful Senior Engineer will be degree educated in Civil Engineering, Water Resources or Hydrology and will either be Chartered or approaching Chartered status. It is essential that you have experience similar industry experience and have or have had experience using modelling software such as HEC RAS, ISIS and TUFLOW. In addition, experience with drainage design, hydrogeology EIAs, pipe network modelling, SUDS and coastal modelling is desirable.
