The role of Test and Commissioning Engineer will help ensure there smooth build, test and commissioning process, with complete customer satisfaction during the systems life cycle.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Wiring of both power and control systems
• Assembly of electromechanical mechanisms and components
• Fitting and modification of parts as required
• Turn on and check power distribution (Three phase checks)
• Check safety interlocks and grounding
• Check control systems and gauges
• Component operation (Pumps, mechanisms, gauges, sensors etc.)
• Fault finding and repair to component level

Skills/Experience:
 HNC (or equivalent) preferred within Manufacturing / Production environment
 Vacuum industry experience
 Experience in the operation of scientific instrumentation and relevant processes
 Experience of low volume capital equipment manufacture
 Excellent computer skills
 Determined, with a high level of initiative and energy.

This role will involve taking concepts through modelling stage to a full drawing set for

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Reports to the director – integrated systems products

We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Electronic Design Engineer to work at our clients premises in the Brighton area. The successful candidate would be required to cover the entire lifecycle of product design including requirements and design specifications, system design, circuit design, evaluation and selection of components and modules, prototyping and testing, validation against international performance and safety standards, documentation, transfer to production and support of mature products. Project and Programme Manager
The main objectives of this role are to:
• Manage larger projects cross-functionally from contract review to FAT/SAT, delivering to time, quality and cost targets;
• Keep detailed documentation and perform reviews for actions, issues, risks, project plans, customer presentations;
• Improve and ensure well documented processes for projects;
• Maintain and communicate programme status of projects.

Project planning (15%)
• Assist with contract review and define customer requirements and sign-off criteria up-front and communicate to project team
• Ensure project documentation and quality control requirements are met from pre-define documentation
• Perform FMEA (Failure mode effect analysis) on projects in cross functional team and mitigate key elements/areas of risk
• Detail project plan with time line, milestones resource requirements and responsibilities
