Roadside Assistant / Tyre Fitter, to £30k
Our client is a family run business, providing independent tyre service and advice to transport users in the northern Home Counties since 2000. While they specialise in commercial fleet management, they will provide any tyre for any vehicle, from wheelbarrow to monster truck.
Position: Mobile Truck Fitter
Location: Milton Keynes and Northampton
Salary: £15-20k DOE with OTE £28-30k
Hours: 44 hour week including Saturday Mornings plus overtime and 24 hour call out on a rota.
ROLE:
Our client requires an enthusiastic and experienced Roadside Assistant / Tyre Fitter for an immediate start working from their Milton Keynes, Hatfield and Northampton depots. Applicants must have a good working knowledge and experience within a Commercial Tyre business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Your prime responsibilities will include attending their National and Fleet customers sites to service commercial tyres.
b) Adhering to all quality, and health & safety procedures, contributing to good housekeeping routines and providing their customers with a premium service.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Applicants should have previous experience of car, truck and agricultural tyre fitting, and also roadside breakdown assistance.
b) You will need excellent customer service skills as this role requires face to face interaction and you will be the face of the company.
c) You will need to have a full driving licence.
d) A positive focus and customer satisfaction are the two main attributes required for the role.

Position: Assistant Facilities Manager
Location: Wolverton, Milton Keynes
Salary: £26K-£27.5k + 5% bonus
ROLE:
The Assistant Facilities Manager is to provide leadership, co-ordination and development with respect to the facilities services. To ensure building compliance is achieved via the overall Facilities Management contract delivery within given geographical area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Be responsible for the delivery of services in accordance with contract specifications issued by other parties for which SPIE Matthew Hall and its sub-contractors are responsible.
b) Provide contract specifications in relation to maintenance activities and or works and where necessary method statements in conjunction with other senior members of FM team staff. To be responsible for the management and reporting of building compliance matters.
c) Produce reports as and when required in addition to fixed reports. These reports should relate specifically to the following: Compliance, Operational, Remedials, and Work Programmes within delegation.
d) Assist in being responsible for the economical running of the facilities, Including, but not limited to and budget control and service delivery.
e) Be responsible for Health and Safety issues appertaining to the site for which SPIE Matthew Hall are responsible.
f) Ensure prior to sign off that all works undertaken for which SPIE Matthew Hall are responsible have been completed in accordance with the works specification and all appropriate documentation has been received and is complete.
g) Carry out appraisals for staff who are direct reports setting out training and development programs as required. Travel and audit of buildings within the FM contract portfolio or as directed.
h) Management of on-site small works teams and sub-contractors ensuring HS&E compliance. Maintain full communications at all times with the contract/FM management team.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Supervisory experience in a position within a Facility Services department, providing high quality service delivery.
b) Sound building fabric/services and associated statutory compliance knowledge.
c) Experience in computer PPM management systems (Concept 500).
d) Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices.
e) Ability to remain calm under pressure, with the ability to develop a good understanding of the customer’s business requirements and present in an acceptable personal appearance.
f) Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required.
g) Confidence and commitment to providing a high quality, professional service.
h) Provide a commitment to the delivery of all aspects of FM including hard and soft services.
DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Sound knowledge of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Endorsement.
b) Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent.
c) Facility Management experience covering both administrative and financial aspects of a facilities management contract.
d) Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
e) Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent.
