Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer - Rail Industry - Civil Engineering
Location:
Luton - but must be flexible to travel within the South/South East/East Anglia Regions
Salary:
25,000 - 35,000 plus Car (Dependent on experience)
Role Description:
Due to a huge increase in workload, my client is looking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic Site Engineer on a permanent basis. The role will include Rail projects such as Earthworks, Embankment Stabilisations, Bridges, Structures etc. Work is carried out in a Safety Critical environment and may include night work and possessions where required.
The Site Engineer will be responsible for:
Liaising with Sub Contractors
Setting out
Involvement with Method Statements
Diary Management
Levelling for Drainage works
Track Drainage
Reading designs/drawings
Producing Site paperwork and diary
Reporting on build ability issues
Required Experience:
Degree/HNC/HND or ONC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Full UK Drivers License
Flexible to lodge/travel
A PTS card and Rail experience would be advantageous however training on these can be given. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with strong initiative looking to progress their career as there is an opportunity for the role to become permanent. This is NOT a graduate role, my client either requires a Site Engineer with 1-2 years experience and a degree (which will command the lower salary bracket) OR an experienced Site Engineer with ample Civil Engineering and Setting Out experience (who will command the higher salary bracket)
