Mechanical Engineer Job #2993 Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Due to continued growth, a Cleveland manufacturer is seeking to add a mechanical engineer to their team.

This position is an opportunity to demonstrate the right blend of job and leadership skills, positive approach, good

Position Requirements Include:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or BSMET)
3-5 years' experience as a design/product engineer within a ISO 9001-registered metal cutting machining environment
Direct application experience in valves, fittings, or tubing is preferred but not required
In depth knowledge of multispindle, multi-axis, CNC & rotary transfer machining and tooling for high volume screw
machining of stainless steel, steel, and brass parts
Expert knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must embrace change and demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement that enhances quality and lean manufacturing
objectives.


Position Responsibilities Include:

Increasing the scope of product offerings by providing leadership to the design and development process, through
completion and rollout
Revising product and processes as required
Testing product and prototypes as required
Maintaining vendor relations (including vendor development)
Providing technical expertise, supporting Operations, Sales and Marketing
Providing customer support and product training

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
