As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Fitter who will be based at our London site to test & repair heavy electrical rotating equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Testing, fault finding and dismantling of AC induction motors, reassembling and testing.
Testing, fault finding and dismantling of DC motors, reassembling and testing
Testing, fault finding and dismantling of slip ring motor, reassembling and testing
Testing, fault finding and dismantling of generators AC & DC, reassembling and testing

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Time served apprentice in a relevant engineering discipline
Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a related Engineering discipline is highly advantageous.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

The successful candidate will be conversant with both the test and repair of LARGE AC and DC electric motors and generators.
