Due to an increase in projects and consistent growth, my Southampton based client is now recruiting for a talented Electronic Design Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of the company's electronic hardware. You will be involved with the full design life cycle taking technical specifications through to product release, with the aim of delivering a high quality end product.

Main duties will include;
- Detailed circuit implementation of electronic hardware in accordance with module requirements to create innovative and reliable hardware solutions
- Design, simulation, prototype and evaluation of new and evolving technical solutions.
The successful candidate is likely to be Degree qualified in a relevant subject (ie Electronic Engineering or related discipline) and will have strong experience in the following areas;
- Design, build, test and repair of surface-mount technology
- FPGA and board design
- DSPs
- PCB layout/schematic capture

The successful candidate will ideally have an appreciation of Embedded software.

This role would suit an Electronic Engineer with experience, practical skills and an aptitude in mechanical, firmware and electrical aspects.
