Overview
Our client is an established international engineering company. They design manufacture and supply a highly technical
product line to global Oil, Gas and Petrochemical businesss. They are seeking the permanent services of an Engineering
Project Manager. You will have previous experience in a similar position, worked to project methodologies in a technical
(Mechanical / Electrical) production environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Oil, Gas
or Petrochemical sectors.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products. To include the forecasting, progressing,
status logging and presenting, and the overall measured success of contracts from handover to Databook completion.
Attending on / off site client meetings as required by contract.
Checking and verification of design documentation including the review and implementation of client specifications.
Ensure this is submitted in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of Certification, local and international standards and regulations
Responsible for ensuring that output targets, as agreed in Production meetings and on:time contract completion dates are
adhered to.
Liaising with client, sub:vendors, Engineers, Project Buyer and Shop Floor Supervisors as appropriate to discuss and
resolve technical, production and commercial issues relating to agreed output.
Ensuring that internal purchasing / production documentation is generated and maintained during the course of the
contract.
Ensuring that all aspects of the equipment is complete prior to Client / Third party attendance for inspection.
Ensuring that all shipping requirements are fulfilled in advance of equipment completion / despatch
Working within a Quality Management System meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001
