Security Design Engineer
One of the largest Telecommunications Organisations within Berkshire are looking to recruit a persistent Security Design
Engineer. As a Security Design Engineer you encompass the wider IP Design Strategy to guide network evolution within
Routing, Switching and Security.
Being a successful Security Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
-Understanding Customer requirements. Designing and implementing solutions within Routing, Switching and Security to
fulfil these requirements.
-Communicate business benefits and potential risks of proposed solutions.
-Understand supplier road maps and ensure the equipment deployed in customers network is 'fit for purpose'.
-Innovate and train solution overview, in particular a preventative maintenance guide to peers. Provide Support where
necessary.
Your skills as a Security Design Engineer will include:
-Understanding of IP & Security Design
-Knowledge of Firewalls, Policy-Based-Security or OSPF and NAT
-Must be an expert w/ CheckPoint firewalls (implementation and building in particular)
-Qualified to CCIE level with CCSP and CISSP also
