Proposals Engineer

Process Engineering, Oil and Gas

The Company
An opportunity has arisen to join a global leader in the supply of process equipment and systems to the oil and gas
industry. With a longstanding history and enviable reputation, the Process Engineer will be joining an organisation which
is rapidly expanding, undertaking numerous projects and prides itself on delivering technical excellence within a
competitive market.

The Role
The Proposals Engineer will be responsible for managing client enquiries from receipt through to contract award, taking
into consideration proposed commercial and technical requirements. They will act as an interface with internal teams such
as engineering, sales and procurement and will manage sub-vendor information and enquiries to prepare cost estimates.
The Proposals Engineer will handle any client clarification requests and attend bid meetings, with the eventual goal of
preparing and submitting a formal written bid.
Using their knowledge of process engineering, the Proposals Engineer will be reviewing and developing process flow
diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams related to oil and gas handling equipment. They will also be evaluating
skid/package layout requirements and assessing control system, mechanical, instrumentation, inspection and shipping
needs.

The Candidate
You will be educated to at least undergraduate level in a relevant engineering discipline, and have experience in working
in process engineering; oil and gas industry experience is advantageous, but not essential. This role requires a
self-motivated, organised individual who is able to communicate well with both clients and internal teams. Experience of
process simulation programs such as Hysys and/or Promax is advantageous, but not essential.
