You will be responsible for the selection of suppliers for the Powertrain engineering department as well as continuously advancing and improving existing suppliers regarding cost, date of delivery and quality. You will execute assessments of suppliers and will be key in negotiating all commercial teams of delivery with suppliers, and concluding basic agreements with main suppliers. You will also provide support for logistics to reach the optimal supply of processes.

You should be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject with a good technical knowledge, particularly in mechanical engineering with the ability to read and interpret engineering designs. You must have experience of project purchase, knowledge of modern procurement processes, experience working in a structured, analytical function as well as a background dealing with difficult negotiations.
