Product Engineer - UK, STAFFS

PRODUCT ENGINEER

25-40k + AVENSYS + MOBILE + LAP TOP + PENSION + LIFE ASSURANCE

THE COMPANY

Well established as a market leading provider of products and services for the rail industry, this global mutli billion pound organization expects to maintain 10% growth year on year. Having invested heavily in new products for the infrastructure and rolling stock markets, the business needs to increase head count to take these products to market.

THE ROLE

As a product engineer your role will be to co ordinate the internal and external activities of the business to ensure smooth running of all on going projects. Office based in Staffordshire you will go on joint visits to train operating companies to support the relevant sales manager. You will provide technical expertise to ensure that the business can deliver the solution the customer requires. You will then be responsible for the preparation of quotations and bids of projects worth up to £2m. Once agreed you will then project manage the contracts through to completion as well as providing training as and when required.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal product engineer should have;

" An electrical or electronic background or qualification
" Experience of working on large projects
" Knowledge of the rail sector is ideal but by no means essential
" Drive to be successful
