SALES MANAGER - RAIL AND BUS

THE COMPANY
Having been acquired by a global blue chip organization, this niche manufacturer of variable message LED signs for the transport sector has the platform in place to dominate the market. Last year saw the business grow by 20% and 33% is forecast for this year. To continue this impressive performance the business needs a sales manager to help deliver on the increase in demand.
THE ROLE
As sales manager you will be covering the whole of the UK working the rail and bus sectors as vertical markets. You will be tasked with developing the rail sector and you will be given a number of rolling stock and infrastructure accounts which have strong trading relationships with the company. The bulk of what you sell will be project led and will require you to go through the tender process. You will also need to take a similar approach to the bus market targeting OEM's as well as operators. This is a boom sector for the company hence the business is looking for someone who will dedicate the time needed to build strong relationships with multiple points of contact
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal sales manager should have;
" A mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering background or qualification
" A demonstrable track record in account development
" Able to sell a solution rather than box shift
" A desire to want to progress within 3 years
