As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an existing Multiskilled Engineering team and your main duties involved with this role will be the planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance of fast moving, PLC controlled production machines. Machines will include mixers, conveyers, packaging and labeling machines. The role is electrically biased.
Shift Maintenance Engineer (Permanent Nights
10.00pm to 6.00am Monday to Friday)
OR
Shift Maintenance Engineer (Permanent Mornings)
6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday)
NIGHT SHIFT MAINTENANCE- Candidates considered will have served an indentured engineering apprenticeship and be electrically biased with at least 5 years experience within a high volume manufacturing environment in a maintenance roll.
DESIGNER (Design Engineer)
Salary £20 - £25k
The role of DESIGNER (Design Engineer) will involve the following:
It is Important that you Possess the required level of understanding of VACUUM FORMING and INJECTION MOULDING of PLASTICS (raw material is polypropylene)
Two and three dimensional design and detailing for vacuum forming products and injection moulded products
Liaison with sales team to interpret design specifications
Responsibility for control of electronic file
Maintenance engineer involved in a mixture of electro-mechanical maintenance (reactive and planned) on site. Full training and development in company and manufacturing systems with starting salary up to £27,000.
Salary & Location: £25,000 - £27,000
Gloucestershire
The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be undertaking electrically biased maintenance on state of the art production lines which include a mixture of conveyors and blow moulding machines. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM's weekly and installation work on a project basis. Although the role is electrically biased, this is a multi-skilled position and as such there is also mechanical maintenance to be undertaken. The whole site is highly automated and any candidates with experience fault finding on PLC's would be ideal. This is however not essential as training on this is provided if necessary. As a skilled and meticulous engineer you will be well organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
