A C&I Engineer is required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the design and specification of C&I systems on site refurbishment / modifications to process equipment and services. Working within a multi-disciplined design team, you will produce technical documents and data in accordance with relevant design codes and standards. You will ensure the proposed design satisfies all operational and safety requirements and check, verify and approve engineering documents in line with the technical and quality plan.

You will be responsible for production and verification of safety cases & submissions and provide input into site/project strategies. You will liaise with project managers & site managers and assist in the technical aspects of the production of quotations, bids and tenders from pre-qualification through to formal tender.

You will manage the C&I resource deployment across a range of projects to ensure effective utilisation whilst estimating and planning C&I design work, recruit C&I staff to support the projects and identify to the Design Team Leader & Project Manager any shortfalls in resource numbers or capability which may threaten the technical design work on the project.
