We require a Mechanical Design Engineer to join one of our largest, most exciting global medical device companies.
Your role will involve you:
- Being and integral part of the Magnet/Gradient engineering team.
- You will take full ownership of mechanical design issues.
- Using simulation tools to predict static and dynamic loads.
- Testing thermal performance as well as component design and manufacturing process tooling.
- You will be leasing with the global team (may involve global travel)
- Design, verify, validate and document components and devices for the companys products.
- Understanding of a quality system to ISO and FDA standards is Required.
To be successful in your application we require that you have experience in the Medical Device, Automotive or Aviation industries. We would also prefer that you have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
We require that you have knowledge of ISO and FDA regulations and experience with Gradient Coils or MRI scanners will be an immediate advantage.
