Inspectors Role

£9 – 10.20 per hour plus shift allowance
My client is looking for a inspector to join a busy machine shop environment in Derbyshire. This is a fantastic role for someone with an understanding of machine tools. For this role benefits include a company pension scheme, five weeks holiday and on site health care.
The successful applicants will –
• Support manufacturing processes and inspect finished components
• Organize work loads and prioritize
• Be able to programme CMM machines
• Able to use hand held inspection equipment
Applicants will be self motivated, flexible and be able to work in a team. You will have experience of manufacturing tools and techniques, able to inspect finished components (small batch work).
Assembly Fitter
Ripley
£12-16K depending on experience
Progressive and expanding manufacturing company in Ripley is looking for an assembly fitter to join an enthusiastic, young and professional team. The role is site based and involves machinery build, drilling, tapping, final assembly and test.
Applicants should have previous assembly experience preferably within a machine tool, plant or manufacturing environment. A knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics is desirable as is the ability to read engineering drawings.
Training will be given but applicants must have an engineering background and hold formal engineering qualifications such as City & Guilds or ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Documentation Engineer
Ripley
£18 – 22k depending on experience
My client specialises in the design and manufacture of high-performance testing and temperature control equipment. The machines are designed, built and tested at their manufacturing site in Ripley.
They are currently looking for a ‘Technical Documentation Engineer’ to join their technical team. The role will involve working closely with the mechanical, electrical and software design engineers, preparing technical documentation: technical publications, machine build specifications, and maintenance & parts manuals. There may also be the opportunity to work with the general manager on quality documentation and testing certification / paperwork.
Applicants should be qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline and have a strong IT background. Previous experience of technical documentation or technical author works is also a requisite. Product training will be given along with technical support from the related departments.
Stores Manager
Ripley
£18-22K depending on experience
Progressive and expanding manufacturing company in Ripley is looking for an experienced ‘stores person’ to take responsibility for technical stores, purchasing and ordering of spares.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure all parts are controlled, issued to defined deadlines and sub assembled to the correct specification, develop a system that is capable of passing 3rd Party audit. Working with the General Manager in ensuring the best possible prices are achieved. Working with Finance manager in ensuring financial aspects of stock control are correct. Upkeep of BOM’s, continual improvements to system development to ensure the system is effective.

Applicants should have previous stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
