As an Engine Monitoring Technician, you will be remotely monitoring the performance of a number of landfill gas powered generators that are stationed throughout the UK. Your duties will include the analysis of the technical data, reporting faults and where necessary, calling an Engineer out for visual inspection and if necessary, repair. As 24/7 cover is required, this is a role that involves a 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern
To succeed as an Engine monitoring Technician, you will need to be a mechanically biased engineer. As this involves working alone with responsibility for power critical solutions, the successful engineer will need to be meticulous in the approach to the role as well as the ability to handle the responsibility associated with it. Previous experience with MSOffice applications, particularly Microsoft Excel will also be beneficial.
