Tasks will range from requirements definition and design for new business to development, coding & integration as required to support existing mission system capability. The position would best suit a pro-active Software Engineer who works well within a team and who has demonstrable experience in Software Engineering.

This position is to be based at their offices in Lincoln to work within the company’s ‘Property & Maintenance Department’ which covers the maintenance of existing stores and new build projects throughout Lincolnshire and parts of Nottinghamshire.
The Department currently employs 6 electricians and 1 apprentice, engaged on repairs, general maintenance and electrical installations in new developments.
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified including C&G 2391 inspection and testing. You should be up-to-date with current regulations including the 17th Edition of the IEE Regulations. You will also be required to act as the “Qualifying Manager” to continue the company’s membership of the NICEIC.

• Have a degree in Machine design, mechanical engineering or similar
• Have experience of 3D modelling
• Have experience of 2D draughting
• Able to use Autodesk inventor

In this role you will start with designing work on components to fit existing ranges and updating these ranges. You will be given the opportunity to move on to product design. You will travel abroad with the company so a second language would be desirable although not essential.
