You’ll lead a team made up of Civil, Control and Instrumentation and Electrical Engineers in their work in petrochemical pipework/pipeline design. This will be on a by-project basis. It will also mean preparing detailed design reports, specifications and component datasheets, as well as approving engineering reports and calculation drawings. In addition, you’ll instruct mechanical engineers on issues such as plant layout. You’ll liaise with clients and contractors too.

Requirements
Applicants must have at least a 2:2 honours degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng). You must have a flexible approach to work as part of the training programme will need you to travel to various sites throughout the UK. There may also be opportunities to do part of your training overseas and therefore a flexible approach to location will be necessary. You will need to be a team player and be able to get on with a wide variety of people at all levels within the business, but have the ability to work under your own initiative.
