The Senior Configuration Engineer is responsible for supporting the Configuration Manager of any given Project, including responsibility for the configuration management of a minor project or major parts of a project and/or controlling work of a significant volume on task packages relating the departments overall workload.
A degree in Physics or a closely related subject
Experience in development of analytical instruments
Strong capability in classic optical design
Analytical but with a practical, experimental approach to development
Ability to use computer design packages to augment hand calculations
Skilled at building test rigs, instrumenting them, and troubleshooting
Practical electronic design skills would be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal and customer relationships skills
Provide EEE (Electrical, Electronic, Electro-mechanical) Parts Quality expertise to support Project level activities, Payload AIT activities and equipment procurement (from external subcontractors and internal equipment manufacturing groups);
Approval of equipment subcontractor compliance to requirements;
Attend/support project reviews (EQSR, PDR, CDR, DRB, etc) at subcontractor/internal sites, as required..............

An electronics engineer is required for the design of quartz crystal oscillators using both empirical and CAD techniques.
Work will involve circuit design, breadboard build, test, analysis and documentation of the final design.
The successful applicant will join a small dedicated team working on product designs at the forefront of world technology, for military and space applications.
The applicant must have a very good understanding of RF circuit operation and be able to design RF circuits on multilayer PCBs and thick film substrates, using appropriate software.
