Established over 20 years ago our client are one of the market leaders within the Air Con industry. With a current turnover of £2.5 million there main business function is to carry out the design, installation, maintenance and service of all Air Con systems. The kinds of products they deal with are Daikin, Mitsubishi and Toshiba.

Working within the commercial market place there client base ranges from hospitals, banks and large office blocks and have recently branched out into the large residential properties of the rich and famous. Being a reputable company they feel most there business comes through repeat business through maintaining relationships. They have just own a contract to work on the Olympics project which will have an increase on there workload.

This is a very responsible role as you will be the main client facer within the business and be accountable for all the maintenance and see to breakdowns at the client's site. Carrying out a field service role you will be covering London and the Home Counties but will be expected to manage you own workload. The work will be sent to you via the phone and it will be your responsibility to contact clients to re-confirm the visit. Later into the role you will be carrying out installation and commissioning of the systems. This is a safety critical role which involves taking into account all Health and Safety issues and ensuring all procedures are followed.

If you have a safe handling refrigeration certificate and have worked on air con units then we would like to hear from you. You will need to hold a full UK passport and driving license. If you are flexible to travel and be willing to attend to breakdowns then this would be something you would really enjoy. The Company:
My client is a world leading name in the field of Design and Manufacture of Special Purpose High Speed Packaging and Wrapping Machinery for a range of blue chip clients. Due to the winning of some large contracts, and a busy order book throughout the year, they are currently looking to recruit for two Control Panel Wirers to work on site in Norfolk on a Contract basis expected to last 6 months, and quite easily beyond.

The Role:
You will be a skilled and experienced Control Panel Wirer, or possibly a Prototype Wirer or Industrial Electrician, ideally with your own crimp tools, and able to build and wire control panels to tight tolerances, and crimp and solder connectors.
The ability to conduct Machine Wiring would also be highly advantageous, as would an electrical qualification such as 16th Edition, although this is by no means essential.
You may have worked for some local companies such as Bradman Lake, Autowrappers, Europack, Trox UK or one of the many smaller packaging machinery, wrapping machinery and food process machinery companies in the area.

The Benefits:
Working an average 40-45 hour week, you will be paid £10.00-£11.00 phr PAYE or £11.00-£12.00 phr Ltd, making weekly earnings range from worst case £400 a week to best case £540 a week, and possibly more for the right candidate.
For good experienced people, the contract is likely to extend to a year or even beyond.

Long established, independently owned defence industry player has recently experienced strong growth. With a reputation for delivering a high standard of quality and innovative working practices, they have now strengthened their hold on the market. On the back of a number of significant contract wins, they now have a number of requirements to strengthen their engineering team.

As Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility over the electrical and mechanical engineering personnel. This will include co-ordinating engineering design activities, optimising resources and facilities. You will need to take control of a small team of engineers - design engineers / draughtsmen, ensuring that each team member carries out their allotted tasks and responsibilities. You will have overall budgetary control and man-management responsibilities to include carrying out appraisals, workload planning, time management etc.

The successful Engineering Manager will have a solid design / development or research background with either a mechanical or electronic bias. Relevant industry backgrounds would include: RF engineering, communications engineering, Radar / satellite transmitter engineering. This would also include a level of leadership experience - leading teams of development engineers etc.
