The role is a vital position in the future of the company and carries a lot of responsibility, as Maintenance Manager, Engineering Manager, Electrical Manager you will be looking after all HV Electrical networks. Your duties would include:
" Management of existing HV operations and maintenance contracts.
" Management of the UK budget for HV operations and maintenance.
" Developing a policy for inspection and maintenance of HV networks.
" Setting up and managing a 5 year maintenance programme.
" Setting up contracts with external suppliers for HV maintenance and fault response services
" Management of spares holdings
" Producing a monthly report summarising HV maintenance activities, HV faults and their affect on wind farm availability.
" Installing remote circuit breaker status and power quality monitoring devices on HV wind farm networks.
" Setting up a 24 hour control room for response to HV Electrical faults.
" Managing a standby rota for emergency response to HV Electrical faults.
" Liaison with other Departments to determine scope of operation and maintenance contracts.
