Our client specilaises in the design and manufacture of control systems for a wide ranging customer base in the food and process manufacturing sector. The range of services offered, is an indication of their committed approach to being a key partner to their customers. From initial design through to the manufacturing and commissioning stages, they provide a professional and focused service.
Due to increased orders they are looking to recruit an additional engineer to work within the design and projects team. This a project support role, working with customers from their initial enquiry and helping develop the client needs into a working design. Design of MCC’s and control panels using AutoCAD, liaising closely with the design team. You will then be involved with managing the design through to the physical product (working closely with the Project/Commissioning engineers). Heavily involved with final test before product leaves site. This is a project support role but does involve an element of ‘hands on’ practical experience.
Applicants will need a good understanding of electrical systems and controls relating to production machinery. Control panel design is imperative and experience of motion control is highly desirable.
This role could well be ideal for a service engineer wanting to progress to an office based role with less travel or even a maintenance engineer looking to get more involved with clients and project engineering.
Working regular days, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Our client is a fast growing inkjet printing company with world leading technology and a growing number of international customers. They are currently looking to recruit a Junior Controls Engineer / Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Engineering design consultancy are looking for a number of electronics design engineers to work within a range of industry sectors, including: automotive/industrial drives, scientific instruments, medical systems, communications/wireless systems and control engineering.
You will have a good first degree (2.1 or better) and have a number of years experience in industry involved in taking designs from concept through to delivery and be comfortable in dealing with clients throughout the process. As this client needs a number of engineers with a broad skill base, experience in any of the following would be of interest.
* Power Electronics and control engineering (inc use of Matlab/Simulink)
* Embedded control systems (hardware and software design)
* Design of medical electronics/electro-mechanical products (including design of low noise analogue, DAC/ADCs, motor control actuators, PSU design)
* Low noise sensor design, data acquisition systems
* Design of digital signal processing systems (DSP assembler)
* Digital Design (ASIC, FPGA, use of Mentor, Synopsys, Synplicity systems)
