The role as a Field Service Engineer involves visiting client sites and providing breakdown repair, maintenance commissioning and calibration service of process instrumentation - Process Control instruments, PLC, SCADA, (i.e. Allen Bradley, S5, S7, Omron, Mitsubishi), flow meters, temperature gauges, Ph analysers, pressure sensors, control loops etc. Key skills involved are component level electronic repair and PLC repair. As this is a field service role, focus on customer service is vital.
The ideal candidate will be ONC/HNC qualified in Electronics, experience in a field service engineering / service technician role and have a full drivers license. The rewards for this role include company car, pension, life assurance and full training.

The Role: The contract manager role is to ensure business objectives and contractual obligations, T&C's are met. Supporting the regional manager to overall run a profitable team which carries out installation and maintenance works on the urban projects or road traffic management systems.
Responsible for budgets, meeting targets, negotiate with sub contractor suppliers, report writing, liaise with LEA & HA. The Contracts manger will also people manage the install and service team.
The Person: The contract manager will have a recognised engineering qualification and management experience with hands on experience of managing and running teams in a technical capacity. Suitable backgrounds will include: traffic systems, telecoms/electrical/electronic in such environments as telecoms fixed line/mobile telecommunications or electronics or electrical engineering environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver are key to the role.
