Applications are currently invited for a Controls Draughtsman/person to join the Drawing Office .The position is for an Electrical/Mechanical Design Draughtsman/person working within the company’s Drawing office. The primary function will be creating manufacturing drawings, circuit diagrams, design layouts and bills of materials for electrical control/excitation panels and large generator terminal cubicles.
Qualification/Experience
Ideally be a time served engineering apprentice, with at least five years additional design and draughting experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment. You will be qualified to at least ONC/HNC level in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or similar), and fully proficient in the use of ME10 drawing software.
Mechanical Design Draughtsperson

Qualifications/Experience
Ideally having served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, with at least five years additional design and draughting experience in a multi-disciplined engineering environment. You will be qualified to at least ONC/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering (or similar), and fully proficient in the use of ME10 drawing software.
Training will be offered to the most suitable candidate that is proficient in AutoCAD .The idea person should be self motivated, and be able to work under their own initiative, and at the same time be a team player capable of communicating effectively with other departments within the Company.
You will be knowledgeable in both modern and traditional manufacturing methods, including machining, heavy fabrication, and be able to demonstrate experience in design of mechanisms, machined and fabricated items.
Principal Duties
Reporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will be responsible for the :
• Preparation of mechanical design schemes, assembly and detailed drawings
• Creation of bills of materials for the company ERP system
• Creation of assosiated engineering documents in accordance with Company and client standards
• Participate in small multi-disciplined teams producing designs in support of our product range
