Product Design / Production Engineer / Telford / Shropshire / Up to £38k + bens. Excellent opportunity for a Product Designer (or Production Engineer who has collaborated on design) to strengthen busy design team. This role involves planning, evaluation and design from initial concept through 3D modeling to rapid prototyping / production. The successful candidate will enjoy balancing innovative engineering design, functional requirements and aesthetic appeal. Experience in small scale electromechanical design such as motorized appliances, circuit boards etc highly desirable. Must have strong Solidworks or similar 3D Modeling experience. Corel Draw also desirable. Manufacturing projects include, but are not restricted to, Steel presswork, plastic moulding and die cas metals. GRP and MDF experience also very desirable.
