Following company growth plans, the service team are seeking to recruit an experienced mobile engineer, whom will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and commissioning high speed diesel engines for clients from the rail, marine, construction and industrial manufacturing industries.

This position will involve both UK wide and global travel, visiting continents such as European, Asia, Africa and the USA. Therefore flexibility is essential, as periods away from home could last up to two weeks any one particular time. The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with diesel engines and/or come from a plant background with knowledge of either generators, HGV's, cranes, fork lift trucks or heavy construction equipment. Based in Lowestoft with access to adjacent dockside facilities their site spans 7.5 acres and over recent years has benefited from continuous investment making it one of the best equipped facilities of its type.

Position

Due to an ever increasing workload and the winning of a major contract, they currently have a need for an experienced Buyer. The ideal candidate must have experience dealing with buying / purchasing / procurement of components and sub-assemblies, and of dealing with contracting companies in the offshore and/or oil & gas industries. Ideally you will also have experience of purchasing parts for sub-sea drilling. A Purchasing qualification such as CIPS would be a distinct advantage, but is by no means essential.

The ideal candidate will come from an offshore construction background, have drilling experience, have worked on multi-disciplined projects, have an engineering background and be comfortable using Primavera P3 and Microsoft project.
