This is an excellent opportunity for a Vibration Engineer to join the expanding business in pipework vibration assessment in the Safety and Integrity practice at this Engineering Consultancy. The vibration team provide consultancy to a range of clients with process plant or gas transmission and distribution installations and you will have responsibility for delivery of complete projects, from specification of the requirements for testing and measurement, installation of measurement equipment and testing on site, analysis and reporting, through to recommendation and development of solutions. This will require use of a range of vibration measurement equipment, supported by technician staff when required.
As Vibration Engineer you should be qualified to degree level in mechanical engineering with proven ability in a mechanical engineering role in the gas industry or similar. You must have knowledge of vibration and fatigue assessment, familiarity with vibration monitoring techniques, equipment and instrumentation and experience of Matlab or similar for data analysis.
Good communication skills are essential as are good team working skills and time management skills. You must be flexible and willing to work on short to medium term assignments in both the UK and overseas. Flexibility and willingness to work unsociable hours from time to time is also required.

We are looking to recruit permanent Corrosion Engineers to provide technical support and consultancy in Safety and Integrity, primarily to the international oil, gas and LNG industries.
A Corrosion Engineer, you should be qualified to degree level in Materials/Metallurgy Engineering, preferably Chartered Engineer or working towards member status. An MSc in Corrosion Management and Control would be beneficial, but is not essential.
You should have experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry, a good knowledge of pipeline and process plant integrity issues, knowledge of corrosion mitigation/monitoring techniques and knowledge of relevant failures modes and experience of pipeline and process plant RBI including inspection planning.
You should be fully conversant with the concepts of Probability, Consequence and Risk and the main criteria for analysing these elements as well as having knowledge and experience of common inspection techniques and their applications and being fully conversant with the latest RBI standards, guidance and methodologies.
For this role you will be required to have the ability to take a project (<£100k) through from initial client discussions, to proposal, to execution, to project delivery (requiring individual and team working ability). Good communication skills are important, both verbally and in the production of written technical reports in English. The latter requires a demonstrable ability to write in a clear and concise language that is required for an engineering consultancy.
