We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a market-leading supplier of value added Production and Separation Process Equipment to the Oil & Gas industry. Qualified to at least HND level in Mechanical Engineering with experience in the oil and gas industry, you will be working as part of a small, dynamic team supplying specialist packages for the production and oilfield service sector of the oil and gas industry worldwide.

Working in a 3D CAD environment, the Mechanical Design Engineer will have a large amount of autonomy and responsibility for individual tasks. You will be providing project support services, including procurement & expediting, as well as liaising with fabricators and machine shops to ensure compatibility of equipment with machining/fabrication constraints

You should have experience working with ASME B31.3, ASME VIII, API 6A and Pressure Equipment Directive standards, and will be familiar with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and MathCAD. Experience of stress analysis, material specification & selection, corrosion analysis, welding specifications and piping/mechanical material quantities/take-offs (MTO) & pricing would also be advantageous.
