Role Description:
Working as part of a large team, the role involves 3D mechanical design and stress analysis of diesel engines and associated equipment using Pro Engineer / Pro-Engineer / Pro E / Pro-E.
Required Experience:
Design or development engineering experience with experience within the automotive industry.
Experience on diesel engines.
Fully competent user of Pro Engineer / Pro-Engineer / Pro E / Pro-E.

Opportunity for a Lead Engineer to join the Design department of Cummins MidRange Technical Operations, who deliver new engine programs and provide current product improvements. You’ll be responsible for design and development of components and subsystems working within Engineering Standard Work procedures.
A vacancy currently exists for a Technical Specialist - Design within Cummins MidRange Technical Operations. We are looking for candidates who have a distinct interest in design, stress analysis, and product development with proven experience/technical expertise in engine sub-system design (i.e. major castings, lube/cooling circuits and/or valve train) along with demonstrated experience in technical project management.
