Job purpose:
Provide project leadership for the mechanical applications design, development, documentation, and fabrication of electronic packages and hybrid electric propulsion systems for commercial and military ground vehicle applications. Interpret and implement customer and military specifications relative to power electronics packaging and propulsion systems design, and liaise with the System Design Authority in the U.S regarding an acceptable solution. Requires extensive liaison with Manufacturing, Quality, vendors and other Engineering functions. Responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
