Description
Shift Maintenence Engineer
A vacancy has arisen for a 3 shift rotating Shift Maintenence Engineer.
Working a 46 hour week, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the jobholder will have part responsibility and Accountability for all manufacturing machinery whilst on their allocated shift. Overtime will be paid for extra hours worked. Bonuses also available.
The Shift Maintenence Engineer will be electrically biased with 16th edition certificate, but with the ability to solve mechanical and pneumatic problems. Planned maintenance and fault diagnostic work on industrial equipment in a systematic way will be mandatory, with the flexibility to respond to emergency call outs, and work out of standard hours, in the event of major machine breakdown.
