An international engineering and construction group has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer to work on the West Ham Flood Alleviation Scheme, based in West Ham London.
You will be responsible for the management of the Civil and M&E design, management of all construction and installations and also be responsible for providing specialist tunnelling equipment, upgrading online pipeline upsizing and numerous new manholes all completed within the busy streets.
The existing West Ham sewer system is a combined foul and storm water facility that has been overwhelmed by rainfall on number of occasions over the last decade. The resultant flooding has been very distressing for the local residents and businesses, so over the last couple of years Thames Water have developed this flood alleviation scheme to provide relief to over 500 properties in the district.
You will be rewarded a salary of £28k £38k depending on experience, excellent benefits including 6 weeks holiday per year, Bupa Health care and state holders pension. This role also offers superb career prospects.
