Project Manager £30-35000
You will be working on design, manufacture and commissioning of hydraulic control systems.
The systems are used to drive presses, steel mills, bridges and other machines throughout the world.
Role
The role is multi-faceted, and embraces project management, engineering and sales.
Principal duties will include:
Managing projects:
Using engineering experience and knowledge to make technical decisions
Producing tenders for complex engineered systems
Liaising with customers, suppliers and other parties
Ensuring work carried out meets all legal and quality requirements
You will be from a mechanical engineering background and have experience in 'heavy' industry, such as metal processing(forging), steel making, or similar. You will have experience of project management, Sales, facing customers and negotiating contracts. You will have the ability to make technical decisions, whilst considering commercial implications.
