Description
Our client, is one of the foremost specialists in ac variable speed drives. The Industrial sector is one of their fastest expanding business sectors and one in which they enjoy a market leading position.
As part of an ongoing expansion to the Industrial Drives Sales Team our client are looking for an Area Sales Manager to provide front end consultancy on sales of ac drives to end users, consultants, system builders and OEM's across Southern England. This position forms part of the Industrial Strategic Business Area Team, reporting to the National Sales Manager.
The preferred candidate will come from either a drives or electrical controls environment and must be an electrical engineer, qualified at least to HNC standard or equivalent. In-depth Drives, PLC or controls knowledge is a prerequisite and at least two years sales experience in the Industrial sector is essential. Good communications skills, commercial awareness, self motivation and computer literate with the ability to form effective partnerships with clients are all essential to success in this position.
