YACHT DESIGN MANAGER
YACHTING INDUSTRY
BASED SOUTH WEST

An opportunity has arisen for a Yacht Design Manager to be based in the South West and to manage the planning and execution of a defined package of design, procurement, classification and acceptance activities to time and quality.

You will take overall responsibility for the client interface and the direct designer to client communication process, management of the specification, as well as ensuring that the schedule for package activities is valid and supported by appropriate plans and resources.

As Yacht Design Manager, you should keep abreast of yacht equipment trends and capabilities, selecting appropriate suppliers for equipment and services, as well as managing sub contract packages and coordinating suppliers. You will be responsible for producing reports and supporting design, procurement and production managers in the execution of their work.

To succeed as Yacht Design Manager, you should have experience within a luxury yacht project of specification and client management, identification and management of suppliers, budget management and the commercial aspects of design and build projects. You should also have experience of the management of design, production and organisational interfaces.
