Field Service Engineer (Worldwide)

This well established, leading supplier within the Industrial Power Generation sector is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their ever increasing service team. Part of a major company within the oil and gas industry, this position is for a service engineer covering a worldwide locations. Based from home this role involves complex fault find and repair of highly specialised equipment within power generation including gas and steam turbines.
Mechanically or electrically biased engineers will be suited to this position, there is a great deal of travel involved both around the UK and Worldwide, including offshore work when required. For this there is a very attractive remuneration package as a daily allowance is paid for every day spent abroad on top of the basic salary. Required Experience: The Field Service Engineer (Worldwide) will need to have mechanical fault finding and repair abilities. Identifying electrical, mechanical and control system faults. A thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
THE SALARY: £19000
THE BENEFITS: £28,000 earning potential. Field based. Worldwide travel, 25 days holiday, pension, life assurance.
