Description
Company based on the Surrey / Hampshire border require a wiring supervisor.
Key skills
Candidates will be required to demonstrate extensive wiring experience obtained in an aerospace and defence environment and will be fully trained to IPC 610 standards.
Duties will include:
* Responsibility for the day to day activities of the wiring section
* Working closely with the Production Co-ordinator to set up and run production systems to ensure the continuity of production
* Assisting staff in resolving any issues that arise during production
* Ensuring staff understand and work to production systems and processes
* Identifying production weaknesses and develop working solutions
* Preparing kits ready for production when necessary
* Identify training needs and where possible develop in-house training plans
* Understand departmental KPI?s and ensure the wiring section understands how to achieve them

Applicants must be prepared to work off-site to carry out any customer refurbishment/repair work, as required.
It is essential that candidates have experience of all wiring disciplines and understand drawing and manufacture information.
